Day 265 (Sept 22) This is my desk. My three children and their friends are in the photo in Lightroom on my computer screen. Though I use my computer and as of last November began using a smartphone, I still use a paper calendar (see how colorfully busy it is?) and notebooks for organizing stuff I want to keep and remember and study. You can see the lens I use most often on my camera (50mm 1.8), the magazines of my favorite online forum, Clickinmoms, and the best Virginia homeschool group, The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers. The Visual Toolbox by David DuChemin is the book I've been studying all year and I'm trying to get started on his new book, A Beautiful Anarchy. (It's wonderful; I just have a lot of things on my plate.) The other notebooks contain notes about my kids' doings, drama club, photography, and stuff I want to remember or keep for sentimental reasons. Even those stuffed animals represent me: cheerful and playful.
Day 264 (Sept 21) This is my Sunset Maple tree in my front yard.
