Ian Reading His New Minecraft Book
Week 09 {alternative light} He found it in Target while we were shopping for Ryan's birthday gift. It's the first time he has asked to get a chapter book to read himself. It's a novel about kids that somehow go into the Minecraft world. Blogged at https://michelekendzie.wordpress.com/2015/03/06/project-52-week-09-alternative-light-reading-in-the-van/

Week 03 My Favorite (4 People, Restaurant, Man) Blogged at https://michelekendzie.wordpress.com/2015/01/22/project-52-week-03-my-favorite/
Week 02 What would I save after my family is safely out during a house fire? My hand-written journals that date back to April 1980 when I was 8 years old (that green one sitting there prominently). They're the most precious irreplaceable thing because they're hand-written. I have made digital images of them for back-up so they wouldn't be totally lost, but those would not be as wonderful as the originals. Since we had this prompt for 2014's Project 52 I have kept these two boxes of journals in my front hall closet for easily grabbing on the way out the door in an emergency. I did think of something else I might consider as well this week: my older albums containing 35mm prints that are not backed up digitally. Their negatives (if I even have them) are in the basement so they're not well-protected. Blogged at https://michelekendzie.wordpress.com/2015/01/15/project-52-week-02-house-on-fire/
