Day 014 | Just as I was hitting the shutter button, she turned and said, "I have to have this one too!" I knew going to the bookstore to use up time before music lesson would be expensive. But it's hard for me to resist books too. We didn't actually get this book though. She liked the idea of photographing it to remember it for another time, and we only bought the first two novels she found. f/3.5 1/160sec ISO1600
Day 013 | Yes, this is a wimpy goal, especially for someone like me who has identified with the term "bookworm" most of my life. But in recent years, while I read a lot, it is mostly non-fiction and short. I think I read 3 novels in 2015. So 12 will actually be an improvement. In case you're wondering about the titles of the books in the photo, sorry, I intentionally turned them this way because these are not necessarily going to be any of the books I read this year (some aren't even novels). The 12 novels I will read this year are yet to be determined. Except the first one. On January 11, I finished my first book, _All The Light We Cannot See_ by Anthony Doerr. f/2 1/80sec ISO1600
Day 012 | Especially when I'm trying to make one great picture every day, sunset surprises me a lot during the winter. I was sitting in my favorite big chair, reading, when I looked up and saw this. The sunset was more beautiful though. Unfortunately, I couldn't move fast enough changing my lens and setting up my tripod. I still like the contrast between the warmth inside and the cold outside though. f/22 1.6sec ISO800
